Who's behind the lab
Modern Writing Lab is a 12th grade English course at Moon Area. This site is its hands-on science center for how AI works. Two people made it happen: the teacher who built the course, and the student who built the website.

Mr. Mangan created Modern Writing Lab, an AI literacy course where learning to work with a machine counts as much as learning to write for a room. Students learn to speak the language of AI, prompt with a plan, and read AI output the way a professional does: critically, not passively.
“This course exists because I believe the students who learn to work with these tools thoughtfully will have a real edge — not just academically, but as thinkers, communicators, and people who understand the world they're walking into.”

02 · The brains behind the operation
Meet the genius who designed this website
Every button you pressed, every token you split, every fake error on the 404 page: that was Nate Greene. Mr. Mangan brought the course. Nate brought the lab.

03 · No jokes in this part
Ok but for real
Nate is a cybersecurity-focused student with an interest in robotics. Here's why you can trust the person who built a site about how AI works.
